The story behind
In my painting "In Corde Coeli (28)" light does not impose itself - it lingers, gliding with the softness of a breath from another world. This work is an invitation to surrender to contemplation, to listen to the silent whisper of colors as they blend and disperse with the delicacy of an imaginary constellation dancing in the distance.
The dominant hues oscillate between azure blues, greens, pearlescent whites, and touches of cadmium yellow anc ochre, suggesting a celestial horizon in perpetual metamorphosis. Through these nuances, I sought to evoke a moment suspended between the end of the night and the birth of dawn—that magical instant where light still hesitates, yet already carries within it the promise of the coming day.
The inks, applied fluidly and instinctively, merged with a spontaneity I chose to preserve. Each flow of ink is an exploration of the unpredictable, a dialogue between chance and intuition, where the meeting of colors creates abstract landscapes that seem to breathe.
"In Corde Coeli (28)" is a meditation on the gentleness of renewal. It is a painting that speaks of resilience - but in a peaceful manner, without struggle or bursts of intensity. Light does not battle darkness; it moves through it, transforming it into a fertile space where beauty emerges from the fusion of opposites.
This piece is an invitation to serenity, to take the time to observe the subtle changes around us. It embodies the idea that even in our quietest moments, there exists a profound movement, a breath of life ready to guide us toward a new day.
In contemplating "In Corde Coeli (28)", I hope each viewer will feel that intimate light - the one that gently reminds us that every ending carries within it a new beginning.
