Quintessence (1324)

Like a petrified wave, this canvas unfolds in shifting layers. Deep greens, edged with copper veins, evoke ancient forests or the mineral entrails of the Earth. Below, blues and violets scatter into myriads of cells, like an ocean crossed by luminous bubbles. One might think of a coral reef seen from above, or a galaxy crystallizing in the silence of the void. Each detail is an open doorway: a scale, a gemstone, a miniature constellation. White acts as breath, an opening toward infinity. Here, quintessence reveals itself in the alliance of the organic and the cosmic, as if the Creator’s breath had carved its passage through fluid matter. And if each colored cell were a world in becoming, ready to awaken to its own light?
