Quintessence (1329)

This canvas seems traversed by a fiery flow, a red vein splitting space while releasing a stream of light. Greens and turquoises coil around it like aquatic forests in motion, while ochres and golds burst forth like mineral lightning. Everywhere, cells form and scatter like bubbles of life in expansion. The whole breathes an energy of germination and explosion, a vitality overflowing the visible limits. The eye is lost in this dance of the elements, oscillating between telluric surge and cosmic fluidity. One reads here the memory of an origin, the trace of a beginning that never ceases to begin again. Here, chaos becomes matrix, fracture becomes fecundity. Then, before this outpouring where everything is created and undone, are we not invited to contemplate infinity within ourselves?
