In this painting, a spiral spiral unfurls like a teeming matrix, where the deep greens of forests meet the blues of oceans and the burning golds of sunlight. It evokes the impression of beholding both a galaxy and a planet still in gestation—a world in the making, whose elements ceaselessly seek, merge and reinvent themselves. Matter appears to vibrate, to flow and to organise itself in a single surge of life.
At the centre, a golden glow conjures the primordial fire, while turquoise and emerald waves unfold like cosmic tides. The boundaries between the infinitely vast and the infinitesimally small dissolve: is this a cell glimpsed beneath a microscope, or a galaxy stretching into the distance? The painting suggests that the whole universe is a resonance, an endless correspondence between water, earth, air and fire. The spiral itself carries an ascending energy, as though striving to raise raw matter towards a higher state of harmony. One senses the invisible hand of the Creator, uniting that which appears opposed and bringing forth beauty from their alliance.
