Quintessence (665)

In this painting, the colors respond to one another like elements in fusion. Blue flows like a liquid sky, crossed by flashes of gold and green, as if light were irrigating matter. At the center, a glowing red form, like a heart or an incandescent stone, seems to guard the passage between two worlds: the heights and the depths. Yellow unfolds in solar halos, embracing turquoise and purple shades, creating an unstable horizon, shifting, at the border of dream. Everything here is passage, metamorphosis, breathing. One senses eroded lands, boiling seas, nascent galaxies. Quintessence is this invisible breath linking the visible to the invisible, the origin to eternity. Before this elemental dance, the soul wonders: what landscape are we truly gazing upon: a fragment of Earth or the sketch of a Universe still in gestation?
