The story behind
Time flows, elusive and untamed, weaving upon the canvas of the world a silent melody - a soft yet inexorable lament: "The Lament Of The Seasons". This abstract work reflects the grand cycle of life, where each season sings its own fleeting yet essential song.
Spring bursts forth in a radiance of light and innocence, a symbol of childhood and carefree youth, where everything seems possible, where every budding leaf holds a promise. Then comes summer, ablaze with intensity—the age of adulthood, when the sap of life reaches its zenith, when the sun bathes the days in golden light, illuminating fulfilled dreams and passionate pursuits. And soon, autumn unfolds its gilded cloak - not as an elegy, but as a gentle peace. It whispers wisdom, a return to oneself, the beauty of things fading slowly beneath one last fiery glow. Then winter arrives, often feared, yet profoundly necessary. It is the time of rest, resilience, reflection, meditation, and introspection - a silent pause before renewal. For nothing truly ends; beneath the frozen surface, spring is already preparing its return.
My brushstrokes, bold and expressive, seem to dance across the vividly colored canvas, as if life itself were a celebration. The dance of the seasons is an eternal waltz. Swirling, overlapping colors create a perpetual motion, a seamless transition through the ages of existence.
Forms - delicate, ephemeral, almost vegetal - fade and transform, reminding us that everything is transient, that all things renew, but never in the same way. For mankind, like nature, can never turn back.
And yet, within this lament, there is a celebration: life is a feast of perpetual change, where each season holds its own splendor. Every moment deserves to be lived with intensity; every passage is a precious lesson.
Thus, my painting "The Lament of the Seasons" is a hymn to the fleeting beauty of the world- an invitation to embrace the passage of time with gratitude.
It whispers but one simple, profound message: Carpe Diem !
