Elevation

In this painting, everything is impulse. As though matter itself refused to remain heavy, trapped by weightlessness, as though the flames longed to detach from the shadows to return to their Source. This canvas is the image of an ascension fixed in eternity. The colors erupt, collide, ignite, borne by an Invisible Force. One might almost see the soul itself, shedding its chains and rising toward the light. Elevation is not escape, but fulfillment. It tells us that life has no end, but a direction: upward, toward infinity, toward the encounter with Essence. Within this tumult of light, one almost perceives a feminine silhouette in prayer, arms open, heart offered, soaring to the sky, surrendering to an inverted gravity.
