In this painting, a dreamlike landscape unfolds like a cosmic glade, bathed in blue light and glimmers of gold. Blazing reds and pinks erupt in the upper left, akin to northern lights igniting the inner sky. At the centre, azure and turquoise spread out in liquid sheets, streaked with yellow and white sparks reminiscent of embers of light or suspended islands. Greens melt into gentle flames at the base, like an earth in gestation—still fluid, still vibrant. Everything moves, everything breathes: fragments detach, shapes are born, glimmers fade. The dream flows through this incandescent matter like an invisible river, reminding us that the imagination, too, is an ocean in motion.
