Quintessence (347)

A burst of light erupts at the heart of this canvas, radiating solar yellows, translucent golds, and flashes of orange. It evokes the very moment an étoile is born, when the sacred fire blazes forth in the silence of space. Purples, blues, and violets respond in counterpoint, wrapping this central flame in a mysterious aura, like a protective mantle. The composition seems to recount a new stage in the cosmogony: after the germination of cosmic cells, here comes the explosion of light, the instant when the universe opens to clarity. Matter expands in coloured waves, reminding us that creation is not static but a perpetual movement. The contrast between light and dark hues conjures the fundamental tension between the visible and the invisible, between what is revealed and what remains shrouded. This painting expresses both the power and fragility of beginnings: the power of energy coursing through all things, the fragility of the moment that may fade or amplify. It reminds us that every creative actis a miracle of equilibrium between chaos and harmony.
