Quintessence (357)

In this painting, a spiral seems to glow with an inner sun. Fiery yellows coil like a nascent flame, entwined with turquoise and emerald currents reminiscent of our planet’s oceans. It is as if fire and water breathe as one, giving rise to a new star. Each concentric ring resonates like a wave, a cosmic heartbeat poised to ripple into infinity. This painting evokes a genesis: at its core, an incandescent nucleus—a promise of spreading light; around it, the dance of elements arranging themselves in shifting layers, calling to mind earthly tides and stellar cycles. One perceives the imprint of a subtle alchemy here, where raw matter is shaped into cosmos. In this whirlwind of life, the eye marvels at the union of opposites: solar warmth and marine coolness, the stillness of the centre and the dynamism of the edges. Everything seems to bear witness to a higher harmony, as though the Creator had sown an image of hidden perfection within the spiral of things. And what if this galaxy were not merely a vision of the heavens, but also an invitation to recognise that, within our own heart, a secret sun burns, about which the whole of our existence revolves?
