Quintessence (82)

In this painting, the Breath no longer merely stirs the waves, but now appears to condense at the heart of an incandescent matrix. Violet, almost mineral-like, traces a burning root that extends towards shifting greens, like liquid forests in gestation. At the epicentre, an orange flame pulses and radiates, like a nucleus of energy. This is the hidden place where matter and spirit meet, the fiery chamber of beginnings. Here, water and fire, air and light intermingle without destruction, as if the creative Breath knew how to unite that which all else opposes. Turquoise filaments soar like veins of ether, inviting us to sense that this breath is not only external, but also internal. The canvas thus becomes a mirror of mystery: and what if every heartbeat were but an echo of that first Breath which is forever beginning anew?
