The story behind

In this painting, sails unfurl like crescents of moon above an emerald sea. The flaming gold bursts recall the light of dawn, while violets bring meditative depth. A boat seems both to advance and to bow within the fluidity of movement, as if seeking to follow the curve of a shifting horizon. The softness of blues soothes the eye, while vivid red strokes suggest the energy of the crossing. The viewer perceives in this canvas the fragile balance between calm and surge, contemplation and action. How can we learn to sail thus, between silence and breath?
