The story behind
In this painting, a mythical bird unfolds its wings of fire and rainbow, suspended between sea and sky. Its shimmering feathers recall the Paradisea apoda, the bird of paradise once believed to have no legs, forever carried by the winds. Here, the turquoise light becomes an infinite realm, a celestial kingdom where grace defies earthly laws. Each painterly movement rises like an aerial dance, a celebration of pure beauty, beyond time and the weight of matter. The incandescent strokes, in red and gold, suggest vital ardor, while the violet and green hues bring an aura of mystery and sacredness. The bird seems to be born from color itself, embodiment of a creative breath. Are we witnessing a real being, or a dream painted by the Creator to remind us that true freedom carries no chains?
