The story behind

In this painting, at first glance, one believes to glimpse the graceful flight of ibis soaring toward the horizon. But upon closer look, silence prevails: the birds remain only as traces, as fading memories mirrored in the waters. The canvas then turns into satire, a veiled denunciation: that of an Amazon wounded by human excess, slowly stripped of its wonders. The vivid colors cry out the vitality lost, while the wavering shapes hint at the fragility of a threatened ecosystem. What remains is the memory of a flight, echo of a vanished beauty. Can art awaken slumbering consciences before it is too late?
