The story behind

In this painting, the eruption of reds, whites, and golds bursts forth like a dazzling gift, irresistible yet edged with hidden traps. The radiant strokes echo the tumult of the Trojan War and the cunning of the wooden horse which, beneath the guise of an offering, concealed the promise of downfall. Here, the canvas becomes a metaphor for false friends, for smiles that deceive, for allure that masks the sting. The vivid colors fascinate, but the black background unveils their ambiguity: behind the gift often lies the trial. How can one discern, within the dazzling brilliance of appearances, what uplifts from what ensnares?
