In this painting, a violet eruption bursts at the center of the canvas, like a column of incense rising toward infinity. Around it, pinks and oranges spread in fiery layers, warmed by the golden light that permeates the entire space. Deep greens and turquoises emerge below, bringing freshness and balance to this blaze. The whole takes on the appearance of an incandescent landscape, like a flaming mountain rising from a sea of light. The pictorial matter seems sculpted by breath: veins, flashes, and flows become paths of fire and water. The gaze naturally rises toward this central ascent, as though carried by an invisible call.
