The story behind

In this painting, a great bird of fire soars into the azure, its flaming wings tracing a circle of light and rebirth. Reds, golds, and purples unfold in blazing arcs, while the deep blue background opens the infinite expanse of the sky. Here, it is the Sîmorgh that reveals itself: the mythical bird of Persian tradition, symbol of regeneration and healing, bearer of eternal wisdom. Its form, born of wide and circular gestures, evokes the vital breath that transforms pain into hope. The canvas thus becomes a metaphor for inner ascension: the soul, called by the light, rises, is reborn, and takes flight. One hears the echo of Attar’s Sufi poem The Conference of the Birds, where each bird discovers that the Sîmorgh is none other than the reflection of their own essence. Here, the invitation is clear: transformation is not elsewhere, it lies within each of us.
