Ivan's Dream

In this painting emerges the incandescent blaze of “the Firebird”, a mythical creature of gold and flames. Its blazing feathers tear through the azure like a promise of deliverance, echoing the tale in which Ivan Tsarevich seizes a radiant feather that becomes his talisman. Here, the fiery hues embody both the destructive force and the liberating power of spirit, able to shatter enchantments and overturn the immutable. As in Stravinsky’s ballet, the dance of shapes and sound-like bursts seems to come alive on the canvas, hinting at the triumph of light over shadow. And what if, like Ivan, each of us carried within the burning feather that breaks chains and opens the gates of the unseen?
