The story behind
In this painting, the colors rise like fragments of wings cutting through the vastness of blue. The brushstrokes evoke a solar journey, reminiscent of the 12 hours of Mandjyt in Egyptian mythology, where the sun travels across the sky of the day. Each mark, each burst of red, white, gold, and green seems to measure an hour, a unique moment carrying the star from morning to its evening glory. The canvas becomes a cosmic clock, where time is no longer human but universal, eternal, and unchanging. The deep blue recalls the celestial ocean through which the sun sails on its divine barque, while the colorful sweeps resemble waves of light. The painting thus invites us to reflect on the fleeting nature of each hour and the eternity of the solar cycle. And if, through these 12 hours, we ourselves learned to be reborn each day?
