In this painting, an explosion of elements unfolds in an intense movement. A scarlet fire ignites the matter, ochre earth dissolves into golden streams, water spreads in turquoise expanses, and air seems to breathe through the pale, ethereal zones where colour draws breath. Yet what binds it all is something else: an invisible breath, a momentum that circulates through every line, every bubble, every shard. Here, the four elements blend and unite, giving rise to a fifth: ether. It is this that magnetises the gaze, drawing one beyond the visible, making the whole throb like a living organism. One no longer merely beholds a painting: one touches, with the eye, a fragment of quintessence—this intangible part that links worlds together. And perhaps this is the very secret of the universe: a fifth breath, discreet yet omnipresent, binding together all we believe to be separate.
