The story behind

This painting feels alive, like a shifting wall—both a coral reef and a dawn sky. Layers of emerald and turquoise stretch across the surface with a translucent quality, intersected by suspended shapes resembling water-filled cells or emerging stars. At the center, a burst of red-orange draws the eye, like a spark of magma or a burning seed—the heart of a world taking shape. Below, deep violets anchor the composition, evoking the mysteries of ocean depths or hidden realms of a distant galaxy. Higher up, ochres and golds form an almost organic line, connecting the visible to the unseen. Altogether, the piece captures the tension of beginnings—between fire and water, dense matter and light. The canvas serves as a threshold, a boundary allowing the life in the process of birth to pass through. One hesitates: is this the interior of a teeming ocean, or the birth of a universe coming to light? Perhaps neither—or both at once. In this suspended moment, you sense that everything is connected, that before matter became a world, it was first light.
