Quintessence (693)

A breath of energy sweeps through this canvas, suspended between expansion and retreat. I let the matter burst on its own — blues flaring into jets of light, Reds and ochres condensed into burning masses, molten cores, hearts of space or of the deep. At the center, a green nucleus pulses slowly, a living heart, a star being born. White filaments weave the distances, liquid veins or miniature Milky Ways, binding every spark to the whole, every fragment to the breath’s origin. Everything floats in a fragile gravity, as if the canvas itself held its explosion. Between a big bang and the birth of a reef, the gesture finds its balance, and matter breathes. Perhaps it is the same energy.
