The story behind

This canvas opens onto an explosion of colours where the forces of earth and water meet. Deep blues stretch out in oceanic swathes, dotted with orange circles that seem to float like incandescent planets. To the right, browns and coppers unfurl like mineral reliefs, while above, orange and gold radiate like a sky ablaze with the setting sun. The movement is swirling: masses collide, intertwine, and dissolve. Here one senses both the surge of a volcano in eruption and the fluidity of a marine current.
