The story behind

Watching this painting is like to plunge into an ocean of light. Deep blues stretch out in celestial waves, spangled with myriad cells resembling stars or luminous coral. Turquoise and emerald green masses condense into organic shapes, like floating islands or planets in the throes of formation. To the right, browns and golds evoke a mineral earth, a fragile shoreline between two worlds. Pinks and reds diffuse a discreet warmth, akin to living embers in clear water. The whole breathes with fluidity and expansion, as if matter itself were seeking to transcend its own boundaries.
