The story behind
This canvas seizes the gaze like a conflagration of fused elements. Fire bursts forth in the midst of the sea, incandescent red saturated with pink and orange flames that seem to dance atop an ocean of turquoise and green. To the left, matter condenses into dark, almost mineral columns, as though lava had surged from the abyss to reach the surface. To the right, light expands, splashing the space with its incandescence, like an aurora borealis transformed into a blazing inferno. The contrast is striking: on one side, the density of forms evoking rock, the thickness of roots or black coral; on the other, a luminous explosion that defies all boundaries. Between these two poles, life emerges—sparks, blazing cells, fragments of cosmic sap. This is the mystery of fire in water, of light in shadow. A revelation: even the darkest depths harbour the brilliance of rebirth. Here the universe reveals itself as both destroyer and creator, a primordial breath that consumes only to foster new beginnings. Thus, when contemplating this aqueous blaze, one question arises: are we witnessing an end in flames, or a beginning in fire?
