Quintessence (352)

In this painting, a spiral unfurls like a teeming matrix, where deep greens meet the blues of oceans and the burning golds of sunlight. It evokes the impression of beholding both a galaxy and a planet still in gestation—a world in the making, whose elements ceaselessly seek, merge and reinvent themselves. Matter appears to vibrate, to flow and to organise itself in a single surge of life. At the centre, a golden glow conjures the primordial fire, while turquoise and emerald waves unfold like cosmic tides. The boundaries between the infinitely vast and the infinitesimally small dissolve. The painting suggests that the whole universe is a resonance, an endless correspondence between water, earth, air and fire.
