Quintessence (377)

This canvas blazes in an explosion of colour: vivid magentas, deep turquoises, and blazing golds. It resembles a miniature Big Bang, an incandescent matrix from which light bursts forth and spreads in luminous veins. White flecks, scattered like a shower of stars, heighten this sense of expansion, as if the universe had only just opened its eyes. The gaze is drawn into the contrasts: here, a shadowy, almost mysterious area; there, a brilliant effusion reminiscent of a supernova’s shattering. The organic shapes evoke both marine corals and celestial nebulae—a reminder that life repeats itself, in water as in the cosmos, under different guises but driven by the same breath.
