Waking Dream

In this painting, to move forward here is to walk in an endless dream. Each step seems suspended on the breath of an unfolding universe. The clouds part in luminous arabesques, like invisible doorways. The sky becomes a path, an invitation to lose oneself and to be found anew. One no longer knows whether one walks, floats, or flies. The stars, countless, are lamps set out to guide the soul. They whisper of promise elsewhere, of worlds waiting to be discovered. Matter grows diaphanous, fluid, almost alive. It welcomes the traveller as a mother enfolds her child. This is a gentle and mysterious crossing, a passage toward the unseen. There is no haste, for time itself dissolves in this expanse. Each glimmer becomes a symbol, each cloud an enigma to contemplate. The dreamlike promenade has neither beginning nor end: it is an eternal present. It invites one to surrender, to let the spirit drift towards infinity.
