The story behind
In this painting, matter seems to erupt in a rain of primordial colours. Lakes of turquoise light collide with dark pools, like islands adrift on the primordial ocean. Everywhere, seeds of life burst forth: white alveoli, translucent bubbles, vibrant cells. Incandescent red sweeps through the space like a breath of fire, recalling the first spark, that ardent heart which set the universe ablaze. All around, deep green and iridescent violet form a cosmic vegetation, celestial corollas poised to bloom in the infinite silence. Each droplet of colour feels like a star in gestation, a fragment of suspended eternity. The eye oscillates between the intimate and the infinite, as though this scene could be both a shard of rock seen under a microscope or a galaxy glimpsed through telescopes. In this chromatic big bang, everything is cycle, expansion, metamorphosis. Is this not the very mystery of our existence: to be born from light, to return to it, and to wonder endlessly what comes before and what follows the invisible?
