The story behind

In this painting, red and golden bursts seem to unfurl the wings of a mythical bird, soaring into an azure sky streaked with cascades of light. It evokes Anqâ, the fabulous bird of Persian and Sufi tradition, a symbol of mystery, initiation, and spiritual quest. Like the phoenix, it embodies the idea of rebirth, but also of the unattainable, of a hidden truth that only the initiated may approach. Beneath its wings lies the promise of another world, both sanctuary and trial. Will you dare to take shelter under these burning wings, at the risk of being consumed in order to be reborn transformed?
