The story behind
This painting takes the form of an intimate and meditative exploration of dreams. The movement of shapes across the canvas seems to brush against the edges of reality, like a gentle breath that, while reaching toward the invisible, seeks to remain tethered to the tangible. It is a struggle between two worlds: that of dreams - elusive and fluid - and that of matter, with its more rigid and defined contours. Lines intersect, yet the tension remains palpable. The soul soars, yet the body is held by the unyielding laws of gravity. The use of acrylic, with its textures and luminosity, amplifies this search for light while keeping the viewer grounded in the shadows that dwell at the base of the canvas. This painting is an invitation to escape while remaining bound, to lose oneself in the sky while knowing one is still connected to the earth. It is the pursuit of a higher ideal - seemingly within reach, yet always just beyond grasp. This work highlights the ephemeral nature of spirituality while celebrating its silent power.
