COLOR PALETTE
The story behind
In this painting, a wall of red and orange celestial flames rises like a molten cliff, contrasting with the turquoise blues and violets that spread in fluid waves across the foreground. The blazing verticals seem to sketch an imaginary architecture, somewhere between a city of fire and an incandescent cathedral. Below, aquatic flows balance the whole, like a sea come to soothe the burn. Everything here breathes the meeting of opposites, between intensity and appeasement.
