In The Heart of The Penanggungan

In this painting, an inner flame unfolds, powerful and vibrant, like an offering rising from the depths of the earth. Matter folds and opens into a fan of fire, revealing layers of memory where shadow and light entwine. Each curve becomes a remembrance. Penanggungan breathes, a sacred mountain holding within it the ancient tales, a silent volcano of our origins. In its slopes burns the memory of the world, upon its summit rises the breath of the gods. It binds earth and sky, the visible and the unseen, the human and the eternal. At the heart of its breath, all is set ablaze, all is reborn, as though creation were endlessly remade.
