This painting blazes with turquoise light, pierced by red and orange eruptions — a coral reef in bloom, carried by mingled fire and radiance. Forms stretch and fragment, tracing the veins of a living stone, or the glowing filaments of a forming nebula. Below, browns and golds draw a grounding earth, a mineral cradle, from which the celestial surge arises.
