Quintessence (1345)

In this painting, one can fancy a whirl of fluid energies, like a cosmic river sweeping across the sky. Light and deep blues entwine with orange and golden veins, resembling flashes of light within matter. Red splashes punctuate the composition, like blazing meteors, while violet and green areas add a mysterious, almost mineral density. The gaze travels along this expanding wave, drawn in by its organic movement, as if the canvas were capturing the very instant the universe breathes and expands. Here, creation is both fluid and incandescent. Everything seems to whisper that beauty is born in the in-between: where water meets fire, where light converses with shadow.
