The story behind

In this painting, an unknown land is imagined from above: fiery reds outline cliffs of fire, greens and turquoises stretch out as fertile plains, while deep blacks suggest shadowy valleys. A white light bursts forth at the center, like a sky tearing open to breathe new life into the landscape. The contrast between the glowing red areas and the cool turquoise greens reveals the delicate balance of what might be a world in the making.
