This painting evokes a dizzying sensation: a dark fissure at its center seems to draw the surrounding colors into an unfathomable mystery. Purples and fuchsias unfold like delicate flames, striving to resist the pull of the void. Around them, blues scatter like shards of the sea, dotted with light cells that resemble stars or bubbles of light. To the left, gold and ochre remain, like sunlit lands still bearing the warmth of their origin. Everything converges toward this chasm, yet nothing truly extinguishes within it; each color transforms and morphs there. It is a vision of transition, caught between collapse and rebirth, between falling and rising. For at the heart of emptiness, a new light can always be born.
