Quintessence (818)

In this painting, colors swirl like a sky in constant flux. Deep greens and turquoises blend into aquatic movements, while purples and golds form bursts resembling the veins of a crystal or the roots of a hidden forest. Strokes of red, like scattered flames, draw the eye across this shifting landscape. At the center, a bright area illuminates the scene, acting as a focal point around which the other colors revolve. The whole composition feels both underwater, within a coral reef, and simultaneously traversing space, as if the painting is caught between sea and sky, between reality and imagination. It thus becomes an in-between space, an open passage to the imagination.
