The story behind

In this painting, a relief emerges, almost mountainous, shaped by flows of azure and turquoise. Its ridges seem splashed with light, as if a cosmic glacier were glowing from within. Along its sides, violet and purple spread out in fluid layers. On the left, embers of ochre and red evoke underground heat—the lava always simmering just beneath the surface. The material breathes, wavering between solidity and dissolution. Yet, seeking elevation, the eye follows the painting’s upward lines, drawn toward the summit of this imaginary mountain.
