The story behind
My painting "In Corde Coeli (32)" is an ode to light in its softest and most mystical form. This piece captures the delicate moment when shadow retreats, making way for a nascent light - fluid and subtle, yet full of promise. It is a space of transition, where colors vibrate gently, like the breath of the sky.
The soothing greens in the upper part of the painting evoke the tranquility of a sunlit sky, serene and radiant. Soft pink hues, along with ochre and golden accents, emerge delicately from the canvas - like dawn after the night, like a sunrise still hesitant but filled with quiet splendor.
As I created this work, I allowed myself to be guided by the organic flow of the inks, which found their own path, creating areas of fusion and transparency. I sought to capture the spontaneity of imaginary constellations, where light dances freely, unbound - where every shade is a surprise, gifted by nature itself. The subtle yet essential golden touches, placed in an ascending diagonal toward the right at the center of the canvas, add a divine radiance - a luminous presence that transcends the composition, inviting inner awakening and suggesting a path forward, infused with movement and vitality.
"In Corde Coeli (32)" is a meditation on the stillness that precedes renewal. This painting illustrates the effortless ability of light to be reborn, to expand gently without ever clashing with shadow - as with each new day that dawns. It is a visual representation of resilience, of that quiet yet unstoppable force that, even in moments of silence, works beneath the surface.
As the viewer contemplates this piece, they are invited to immerse themselves in this space of peace and transformation. I hope they will feel the soothing softness of this suspended moment and draw inspiration for their own inner journey.
"In Corde Coeli (32)" is a tribute to the discreet light - the one that does not always demand attention, yet is essential in guiding us toward a brighter tomorrow.
