The story behind
This painting opens like a burst of earth and sky united. Turquoise and emerald striations fan out, strong and ordered, recalling the fronds of monumental foliage. At the heart, incandescent oranges and reds surge like a glowing ember, an inner hearth that warms the entire composition. The thick, striated matter gives the whole a tactile intensity. One could almost brush against the bark of an ancient tree, feel the heat of soil inflamed by the sun. Here, nature is not mere contemplation: it is force, raw energy, living matrix. This work marks a transition, like a threshold between two states. The gaze is drawn to the incandescent center, yet immediately carried upward by the vertical thrust of forms that seem to rise. Earth and light unite in a powerful dialogue, inviting one to cross a passage. Within this vibration, one perceives the movement from the terrestrial to the aerial. The canvas thus becomes a reminder: every elevation begins with deep rooting.
