The story behind

In this painting, two sailboats appear to float in an unreal space, as if suspended on the border between the visible and the imaginary. Shades of turquoise, emerald, and gold create the illusion of a shifting landscape that blends ocean and sky. The viewer is left uncertain whether they are gazing at the sea, a cloud, or a dissolving dream. The artwork evokes the mirage of distant horizons—visions that guide our steps but fade as we draw near. Is this perhaps the very essence of travel: chasing what slips away in order to better learn how to hope?
