WITH THIS PAINTING, CREATE A WORLD OF YOUR OWN!

The story behind

In this painting, the sea unfolds like a sheet of azure and fire, stretching toward the unreachable edge of the horizon. Crimson and orange bursts, like dancing flames, mingle with ethereal whites and deep violets, expressing the awe and fear of ancient sailors. Here, the sail seems to strive toward an ultimate point, where the sea might touch the sky, where the unknown begins. The canvas summons the imagination of civilizations that believed the world was flat, a disk adrift upon the primordial ocean. It evokes the fascination of a threshold: the world’s edge, both threat of abyss and promise of revelation. In this stopover, each color becomes a frontier, each vibration an inquiry into the limits of reality. And could the “edge of the world” be less a place on a map than the inner experience of crossing our own boundaries?
