The story behind

In this painting, the sails of a ship erupt in scarlet and turquoise flames, cleaving through an intense blue sky. The motion is sharp, urgent, like a frantic race toward an unseen goal. Contrasting colors create dramatic tension. The sea seems to roar and the sky to ignite. Yet a white sail softens the scene, a promise of balance regained. This canvas speaks of life’s fervor, of the irrepressible drive that pushes us to cross into the unknown. Where does this race lead: to a real island, or to the conquest of self?
