In Corde Coeli (68)

Bursts of green and yellow open the canvas like an expanding dawn. At its center, a dark mass with bluish reflections unfolds, resembling either a suspended mountain or a figure taking shape in the light. Below, reds and pinks intertwine into a living substance, crossed by branching lines like roots of fire. The whole seems to waver between earth and sky, between elevation and depth, within a tension of colors that seizes the gaze. Is it an apparition rising amidst the colors, or an inner landscape each one is free to explore?
