The story behind
A glowing ember opens at the center of the canvas, an incandescent burst caught between rosy flames and golden clarity. Everything seems to vibrate with heat and light, like a blazing eye gazing toward the horizon. Around it, pinks and magentas unfold in fluid layers, recalling moving clouds of fire. Lower down, turquoises and blacks intertwine in a striking contrast, resembling the depths of the ocean or the shadow of volcanoes. The pictorial matter here takes on the aspect of a sacred struggle: between the fire that consumes and the freshness that soothes, between the light that reveals and the shadow that keeps the secret. The gaze is drawn into this intensity, suspended at that incandescent point where all converges, as though the universe had condensed into a single breath. And if this blazing heart were nothing other than the image of the mystery within us—that fiery place where life is ceaselessly regenerated, through trial as through light?
