FAQ: SOCIAL NETWORKS

Whenever possible, I use ART ELIORA BOUSQUET, and sometimes just ELIORA BOUSQUET. It depends on the availability of usernames and the formats provided.

Here is a list of all my consolidated accounts as of 2023:

I deleted all of my social media accounts (except for Pinterest, which I primarily use to share my sources of inspiration like a style notebook) for a period of two years. During this time, I partially redesigned my website and promotional materials, as well as created a new blog to unify all of my platforms in terms of content and presentation.

During the website redesign process, the addresses of the content pages (including my paintings and merchandise, totaling over 3,000 pages in both French and English versions) were changed. Manually redirecting all the old page URLs to the new ones was impractical. Therefore, I decided to close my accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and partially on YouTube, in order to start fresh and provide updated content without the risk of encountering "404 errors."

The account you mentioned (ArtElioraBousquet) was hacked using a fake email address and phone number. Despite numerous requests to Facebook, I was unable to regain access to that page. As a result, it is no longer updated, although it remains online because Facebook never deletes created pages, as they consider them to be their property (please refer to their terms of service).

In order to provide content that is most relevant to their expectations (rather than offering the same content to everyone, as I did before), I redesigned all of my social media accounts.

Each account now offers specific content, although certain aspects, such as my paintings, remain common across all platforms.

I partially redesigned my website, particularly by reorganizing all of my painting collections, as I have created over 1,000 artworks and the old pages were no longer suitable.

I also stopped working with the service provider that managed my dedicated painting blog because their new pricing and usage terms, which prevented me from making copies or transferring my own content, no longer met my requirements. Instead, I decided to create my own blog.

The website redesign, along with the launch of a new blog with a new URL address, resulted in a large number of URLs that needed manual redirection in order to maintain my natural search engine rankings. To avoid displaying numerous "404 error" pages, I chose to close all of my accounts temporarily. I planned to reopen them only once my website and blog were completed, with clean URLs that would redirect visitors to the appropriate content pages.

I decided to reopen my accounts on the occasion of my 14th anniversary in the professional field. The date is a playful nod: 07/07/2023 = 777, where 3 multiplied by 7 equals 21, which happens to be my favorite number. Furthermore, 2 plus 1 equals 3, a number that holds great symbolic value for me.

I inform my followers about the dates of my upcoming exhibitions on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

I share detailed practical information exclusively through my newsletter, primarily because I cannot invite everyone to the opening receptions. If you would like an invitation, please feel free to sign in; my newsletter is free of charge.

I primarily use Pinterest to share my sources of inspiration.

I write my posts in both French and English because:

• Not everyone speaks English, and even if they did, it's a matter of respect and coherence. I can't imagine speaking to my French friends, acquaintances, and clients in the language of Shakespeare :-) I consider it a service to not communicate exclusively in French with those who don't speak the language of Molière. It would require them to translate the content themselves, potentially leading to misinterpretation, which would distort my messages.
• I am French, proud to be so, and I want to continue defending my mother tongue for as long as possible in a world dominated by commercial relationships where, admittedly, English prevails. No further comments...
